In this post i am going to show you how to install custom recovery { TWRP (Team Win Recovery Project) } in Xiomi Redmi note prime (The procedure of installation  of Recovery is same for all devices Rooted or non-Rooted ) Why custom Recovery ? Android devices come with Google’s recovery environment, which is known as the “stock recovery.”  The stock recovery is a minimal, limited system. It’s designed to be ignored, and it can generally only flash OTA updates and ROMs provided by the device’s manufacturer, not third-party ROMs.  That's why we need custom Recovery. A custom recovery is a third-party recovery environment. Flashing this recovery environment onto your device replaces the default  stock recovery environment with a third-party, customized recovery environment. Why Root Redmi Note Prime..? You all know that  Redmi note Prime is now running on kitkat 4.4.4 and miui 8 and there is no feature in this phone like dual space , second space and you cannot record your screen because there are no apps to record screen of android device with kitkat version . Then for features... and to screen record or even to move to any other ROM's like cynogen , you need to have a rooted device.
